Definition- Safe water means water that will not harm you if you came in contact with it. Basically safe or wholesome water that is-

                                 -pleasant to taste

                                 -free from pathogenic agents     

                                 -free from harmful chemical substance

                                 -free from order and color

                                 -usable for domestic purpose                   
     There are some physical and chemical parameters which determine the quality of water.
